Would you like to meet an astronaut? Do you want to ask a question to Stephen Hawking? Come to Starmus 2016 and listen to the brightest scientists and thinkers of our time, including twelve Nobel laureates, to reflect on some of the greatest issues of today’s technological, scientific and philosophical world.
Starmus Festival is the perfect combination of science, art and music, with a program that includes lectures, concerts, exclusive gala events, stargazing and beach parties to bring science to non specialist audiences. Cyber-security, climate change, artificial intelligence, the threat of asteroids and the evolution of capitalism are some of the keynotes of this third edition, a tribute to Stephen Hawking. Hawking, who repeats his appearance in Starmus, will be answering questions from the audience at the session ‘Ask Hawking’, among other interventions.
Starmus born in 2011 with a great informative vocation, from its inception has positioned itself as a model in this type of events, especially in the field of astronomy and astronautics. Undoubtedly, it is the combination of scientific interventions, premier rock concerts and artistic events which makes of Starmus such an attractive and exclusive event.
